The rules are simple: if you’ve done the thing in question, you take a sip of your drink - squash, coffee or something a little stronger (it's only 3pm here in the UK, so I went for coffee!).

Never have I ever…

❤️ Witnessed the wedding of a bear (Boo Boo / Rob) and a duck (Quack / Alan)...

🧡 Shot a wedding wearing my faux leather trousers and black t-shirt with a huge pride bowtie (check out my profile pic!).

💛 Filmed a wedding where there is a Head Bitch.

💚 Laughed, cried and laughed all over again in a matter of seconds throughout the ceremony.

❤️ Completely adored the officiant of the wedding, a close friend of the couple (what a gorgeous soul).

💙 Been filled with so much love and joy watching two people pledge their vows to each other.

💜 Cried making the wedding film because of all the tears, emotion, love and joy - and the utter refusal to ever give up on love.

❤️ Wanted to hug the groom’s mother more. What a beautiful person inside and out.

💚 Loved my American photographer colleagues even more.

🧡 Put my feet up after putting my camera down and drunk a cider by the pool with said Head Bitch, pianist extraordinaire, beautiful guitarist, and a cheeky X-Factor star.

💛 Fancied a good percentage of the room 🤭 but knew I had NO chance 🤣

💚 Filmed through dry ice for the first dance, whilst one groom sang a completely unique song to the other.

❤️ Been part of a massive ‘crew’, including Sound, Lighting & Streaming where we had PDFs upon PDFs in the run-up to the wedding day 🧐

💙 ‘Danced’ with the wedding party until the LAST dance!!!!

💜 Made best friends with strangers and promised to visit them in Texas in the not-so-distant future!

❤️ Drove home with my heart overflowing with love.

Alan & Rob, your wedding at Pennyhill Park was one of the most joy-filled, relaxed and honest weddings I’ve ever captured. Filming your day reminded me why I do this... it’s not just about the photos or film, it’s about the love, connection and energy of the people in the room.
